Australia Day Award

Blush is humbled and deeply honoured to receive the 2026 Australia Day Community Group Award for the Toowoomba region.

We were thrilled to be nominated beside our fellow nominees who are all wonderful community groups doing such valuable work in our region. This is very special recognition of Blush’s contribution to our region for over ten years. Dr Sharyn Donaldson, when receiving the award, recognised the extraordinary generosity of our region – our volunteers, donors, local businesses, clinicians and supporters who continue to step forward to ensure that people facing breast cancer are not walking that journey alone.

Every patient we support, every family we help and every service we provide is made possible by their collective effort. We acknowledge all that have supported us for over a decade with compassion, connection and a willingness to put the wellbeing of others ahead of ourselves. This award recognises all of you that have, and continue to, contribute to Blush in so many valuable ways. We simply couldn’t deliver the services we do without your contributions.
