Blush Cancer Care invites you to a session of a brand new impact film, Conquering Breast Cancer.
Imagine a world without cancer… this compelling social impact film inspires us to do just that. Asking can Australia rise to the challenge of conquering breast cancer?
Currently, breast cancer is the 2nd most commonly diagnosed cancer in Australia. While survival rates have improved significantly, breast cancer is far from ‘solved’.
This brand new impact film highlights the urgent challenge of preventing, detecting and treating one of the nation’s most common cancers. You'll be inspired by the powerful stories from survivors, advocates and experts in the field as they explore the progress that's been made and the work still to be done, to ensure breast cancer becomes survivable for everyone.
The film features well-known Australians, including Raelene Boyle AM, MBE, and Paul Maley, alongside many passionate survivors, advocates and healthcare professionals.
After a very successful opening run of sessions across the country, the film is now coming to Toowoomba.
The session will be held at Toowoomba Strand on Wednesday 02 September from 6:00pm
